Thinking Positively and Negatively When dealing with Bipolar Polar Disorder

Today, I want to talk about how positive thinking can help in maintaining stability when it comes to Bipolar Disorder. Plus, how negative thinking can halt your chances of reaching stability.
Positive thinking can go a long way when your dealing with Bipolar Disorder not only is it important for the one dealing with BP to be positive but it is also important to surround themselves with people who also have positive attitudes too. When I say positive thinking I mean for instants saying you can reach stability rather than saying you think you will never reach stability and you will always feel down. Having the negative attitude for sure will put a damper on your chances of achieving stability. So when it comes to positive thinking make sure you always give yourself credit and always keep a positive attitude no matter how hard things may seem.
I know firsthand how negative thinking can bring you way down, I know when dealing with depressive episodes my attitude always seems to be negative but I always remember to stay positive and know that the feelings I am having will eventually subside.
So with that said remember positive thinking equals stability and happiness while negative thinking leads to instability and sadness. So until next time stay active and safe.

Sorry for not posting in awhile!

As I recall my last post was June 19th. Since that time I surely have been through a lot its like my memory seems to hinder me. I just got through a long depressive episode, I am feeling a lot better now but I am still feeling the effects of my anxiety. I also have been experiencing tremors it could be from the medicine I take but it also can be just the anxiety that has lingered on since my depressive episode subsided.
Well that is enough venting about what I have been going through the last couple of weeks. It sure seems like over a month the days seem to drag on and on for me. I try to keep busy by reading, taking walks and also going online and trying to keep my mind occupied.
I just want to be stable for more than a month that is my goal but I sure can't seem to reach it lately.
Well, the weekend is finally here and I hope to keep busy and along the way have a little fun which is just what the doctor ordered. Until next time stay active and safe.

Its Been awhile since my last post sorry about that!

I know it's been awhile since my last post, I just have been so busy I have not been able to getting around to posting. I am going to try to post more often and try to be more candid. Since the last time I posted I have gone to see NHRA drag racing which was surely an adrenaline rush. I got to meet and to get autographs from such drivers as John Force and his daughter Ashley to drivers Robert Hight and Greg Anderson to name a few. The very next day I attended a White Sox game where the Sox were hosting the Detroit Tigers. Pitcher Jose Contreras was great as he allowed one hit while the White Sox won 6-1. This weekend I plan to participate in a Perch fishing tournament tomorrow morning at Lake Michigan's Northerly Island. I have to be there at 4:30Am for registration which means I will have to go to bed extra early tonight. Well other than that I have been feeling good and remaining active and also trying to get plenty of sleep and eating right along the way.
So until next time stay active and safe.

Don't Ever give up and don't ever give in

Remember you should never give up no matter how bad things get, you may think they will never get better but just remember their is always brighter days ahead. I know when I am feeling down and depressed I always reflect on how I felt before and what I did when I was feeling great this makes it so much easier to get past the tough times.
Remember don't ever give in to your feelings that is the worst thing you can do when dealing with Bipolar Disorder especially when you are feeling depressed. You should I repeat never give in to your feelings because it can have dire consequences in the end. Instead of giving in try to think about how it will be when you feeling yourself again this will give you so much reason for hope and want to see the brighter days that are ahead. So with that said always remember no matter how hard or dark the days get always remember brighter days lay ahead. So until next time stay active and safe!

Hello Again!

I know, I know it has definitely been awhile since my last post so I am truly sorry for not posting. I have been through a lot since my last post. I was hospitalized for a short period because I tried to hurt myself. I am currently doing well, I am still on the same meds and hope that I continue to stay on the right track to staying stable. I know now it is surely going to take a huge commitment on my part to stay stable but I know better than anyone I can do that with flying colors.
My last hospitalization before my last two weeks ago was back in 2002 so it was about 7 years since my last which I think is very good. But, I know I must try very hard to stay out of the hospital and not to ever try to hurt myself again. I know it is just very selfish to want to end your own life because those left behind are left with so many questions and no answers to why and how they could and wish they could have done something to help. I need to reach out more for help and remember everything is not as bad as it may seem and always I mean always I need to keep a positive mindset. So with that note Please stay active and safe and I will talk you again!

Hello again!

Just wanted to check in and say hi! Been feeling pretty good accept for my teeth bothering since my visit to the dentist on Thursday, had to have an extraction so I have been bothered by a sore mouth and pain on my gums since.
I have been taking pain medication to relieve the pain. I will say I would take this pain over any Bipolar Episode that I have dealt with in the past. Now that is definitely saying something, their is always something good that can come out of something that may be bothering you or that is painful to you. Just remember by doing something you enjoy such as writing, reading, or any other activity can help with both your problems and your pain. So until next time stay active and safe!

Just checking in!

Just wanted to check in and give a update on how I have been doing and what I been up to. I have been doing great the last two weeks and I been keeping busy with my business. I am a seller on both Ebay.com and Amazon.com. On Ebay I sell old Prewar and Post War Lionel Trains while on Amazon I tend to sell books, DVDs, CDs and other media. I oversee all the aspects of the business from the listings on down to the shipping. So I am extremely busy with Ebay.com from taking photos to writing up excellent descriptions of each listing and also responding to customers questions. On Amazon.com it is a lot easier since all you have to do is give the item ISBN and the condition and they provide the picture if there is one.
It's great to own a business, but let just say it is not for everyone since a lot of work has to go into it and it takes a lot of planning to keep your business running smoothly. Well, that's my post for today and just remember stay active and safe!
