The many ways to stay active to prevent an episode

There are many ways one can stay active to prevent an episode, the one that really stands out the most is getting exercise at least three times a week. Just going for a walk around the block or slow jog can help or if you prefer you can even join a gym or a fitness program at your local park. Getting exercise helps to stimulate the growth of neurons in the brain that are damage during depression also it helps to reduce symptoms of depression nearly as effective as anti-depressants.
Exercise is an integral part of your daily routine that can help or at least prevent an episode from occurring. Remember, you can not always prevent an episode from occuring but you can follow certain activities and other daily routines such as your diet, sleeping habits and of course your exercising regime to at least stay on top of your depression.
Until next time stay active and safe!
