A Good Diet, Exercise and Sleep

All three of these are important for a person who is dealing with Bipolar Disorder to stay on top of. First off is diet you should try to avoid eating sugary and salty foods and try to substitute them with fruits and vegetables. Its all right sometimes to reward yourself with a piece of cake or a cookie but don't over do it. Secondly is exercising, you do not have to go to the gym everyday to exercise simply taking a walk two or three times a week is great or taking a ride on your bike. You do not have to exercise everyday try to exercise at least twice a week and maybe up that to three or four after a month or so. You will surely see the difference in how you feel and how much more energy you have.
Third is sleeping, at least getting eight hours of sleep or for some nine hours of sleep it is alright sometimes to go to bed late on the weekends but try to still get eight hours of sleep during the week it is important to be a on sleep schedule such as going to bed at 10:30 pm or 11:00 pm or earlier if you need to be up earlier. But the thing to remember is always try to get eight hours of sleep no matter what.
If you follow these three you will surely feel better and even notice that you have more energy too. So until next time stay active and safe!
