Sorry I have not posted in a while But here is some more good advice to remember!

With the Holidays fast approaching such as Thanksgiving and Christmas it is important for people who deal with Bipolar Disorder to stay on top of their habits and watch for signs that could lead to a episode. Whether it is a manic or depressive either way you want to try to avoid them as much as possible. One great ways is by making sure you don't get into bad habits such as staying up late or eating the wrong foods. Try to avoid sweet foods it is fine to eat the occasional sweet here and there but do not over do it because it could lead to a severe episode. Try not to stay out too late or up to long it is certainly fine to do on one or two occasions but do not make it a trend.
For some the Holidays are the worst of times because this is the time of year when they have to deal with a depressive episode it could just happen because they are lonely or their family is not coming over this year. Simple things like this can trigger an episode but make sure you stay diligent and be on the up and up so you can stay stable so you will be able to enjoy the Holidays with your family and friends. So until next time stay active and safe!
