I know firsthand how depression can easily takeaway the things in which you love doing the most and how it can also keep you away from the people you love spending the most time with.
Myself, have dealt with depression and through the years learned how to deal with and tackle depression head on through littlest of things that I will go into shortly.
Depression is very consuming it overtakes most of your life and makes you feel hopeless, worthless, stressful and completely drained.

Some of the things that you can do to tackle depression are exercising daily for 15 to 30 minutes just to make you feel better. You can also do what I am doing here writing, it takes your mind off of other things that maybe bothering you but you just can not seem to get rid of.
Another, way is to read an interesting novel, article or any other form of reading so you focus on something other than what maybe bringing you down. Talking to friends or family can also help it can relieve some of the stress, the feelings of hopelessness and worthlessness all of which develop during depression.

I have found throughout my dealing with depression that seeking out help from a trained professional such as a therapist or psychiatrist can also help in just having someone to talk to you can do wonders. If you need they can also suggest that you see a doctor that may prescribe medicine to you that you can take to help in keeping you depression free.

All of these suggestions and also the methods that I used with dealing with depression are just some of the very suggestions and methods that worked for me. There are definitely many other ways to tackle depression you just have to try any activity that can keep your mind occupied and also remember there is always someone out there that is willing to listen to your problems. Remember your not alone and you can get through depression just do not give up.
